The Adidas Adipure 360 model is one of the best HIIT shoes that I have recommended in my previous review. If you have never try this model, you might be confused about the different versions and how different they are from one another. Most of the time, you will assume the latest version, whivh is the 360.3, is always the best versionto buy but is that really true? Thankfully, I am here to tell you, in detail, how different the 3 versions are and which one should you get.
Adidas Adipure 360.2 vs 360.3
Let’s start by comparing the latest 2 versions: 360.2 and 360.3. The first thing you will notice is that 360.3 works more like a slip on, although you can still the lace to tighten the shoe. For comparison, 360.2 works more like a traditional lace up system.
The biggest difference however is the one piece upper material that has very breathable materials. It makes the shoe more comfortable and fitting, while letting more air flow to cool the feet during the cross training. You will feel that your feet sticks closer to the feet and allows you to move more freely.
The midsole support for 360.3 has also improved with its new floating media cage. I found that this has given the shoe more lateral support as I try moving it in from side to side.
Overall, I must the 360.3 has made some improvements over its predecessor. However, the change is not so big that you need to upgrade if you already have the 360.2.
Adidas Adipure 360 vs 360.2
For those who prefer the originals, you might want to know how the 360.2 has refreshed the shoe and whether it is worth an upgrade. The things that remain are the flexibility of the shoe as well as the very breathable mesh top. The thing that Adidas improved on was the lateral support. However, I think that comes with a narrowing of the shoe, especially at the middle portion.
If you have narrow or normal, you will the 360.2 giving greater stability especially during the intensive side to side movements. For those who need cross training shoes for wider feet, you might do well to stick with the original Adipure 360 as it is cut slightly wider. Better still, forget about this model and click on the link above to read what the really wide feet cross training shoes that I have recommended.
Which model should I choose
At the end of the day, if you have bought any Adipure cross training shoes before, I would suggest to go for the latest 360.3. It has better support and feels more comfortable for normal feet and narrow feet. For those who have slightly wider feet, the original 360 will be your best bet. For those who need strong arch support, I am afraid none of the 3 models will be suitable as the arch design isn’t really that. You might want to consider these options instead: cross training shoes with high arch support.
The Adidas adipure cross training series is one of the best HIT shoes for workouts and training. Its version improvements, while not earth shattering, makes it a bit better each time they do it.
